CAM Services at Doya Natsu:

Healing Through Culture and Balance

At Doya Natsu Healing Center, we believe that true wellness comes from treating the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and community. That’s why we offer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) services alongside our counseling and treatment programs.

Our CAM services include:

  • Sweat Lodge Ceremonies – For spiritual cleansing, reflection, and prayer

  • Talking Circles – A safe space for shared healing, listening, and support

  • Smudging and Energy Cleansing – Using sacred medicines like sage to clear the mind and spirit

  • Massage Therapy – To relieve physical tension and emotional stress

  • Acupuncture and Chiropractic Care – Supporting the body’s natural healing systems

  • Cultural Art & Craft Sessions – Creative expression as a tool for mental health and cultural connection

  • Guided Meditation & Mindfulness – To quiet the mind and focus on inner peace

Whether you are working through addiction, trauma, grief, or simply seeking a better sense of balance, our CAM services offer gentle, powerful ways to reconnect with yourself, your culture, and your community.

Healing isn't just about medicine—it's about meaning. At Doya Natsu, we honor both.

The Doya Natsu Sweat Lodge

A Place of Teaching, Healing, Prayer, and Renewal

At Doya Natsu Healing Center, the sweat lodge is a sacred space where healing begins, where spirits are lifted, and where our connection to culture, community, and Creator is restored.

This lodge is not just a structure—it carries a story. It was originally built in June 2017 by three respected elder men: Brian Standing Rock, Dennis O’Neal, and Gus Thayer. With their combined wisdom, strength, and love for the people, they raised the frame and offered prayers for the generations to come. The lodge was dedicated to the youth, as a safe place for them to come home to their culture, to cleanse from pain, and to be reminded of who they are.

Built in the traditional way, the sweat lodge is used for purification, healing, and spiritual guidance. Heated stones—“the Grandfathers”—are brought into the lodge and water is poured over them to create steam, carrying prayers and songs up to Creator. Within the darkness and warmth of the lodge, we let go of what weighs us down and make room for renewal.

Sweats are held regularly for clients, families, and community members as part of our holistic and cultural approach to wellness. We honor both tradition and modern recovery work by creating a safe, respectful, and healing environment for all who enter.

At Doya Natsu, the sweat lodge stands as a symbol of resilience, remembrance, and the power of prayer. It is our commitment to carry the teachings forward—for the youth, for our healing, and for the strength of future generations.
